Job description
Three Bears Alaska is looking for an experienced data entry clerk to join our experienced team of accounting professionals. The Accounting Clerk I is responsible for performing clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards, serve as a resource for the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, and assist with year-end audit requests. This position is responsible for executing accurate reporting, filing, and database management in multiple systems and securing financial information by conducting database backups and, maintaining strict confidentiality The Accounting Clerk I must be able to apply superior data entry skills in a high volume, fast paced work environment. Accuracy and efficiency are a must!
Minimum Qualifications
- Verify and post details about business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and total accounts to ledgers and databases
- Match, batch, and code vendor invoices
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal
- Fast and accurate data entry
- Ability to review own work for errors
Experience:
- At least 2 years of previous data entry experience
- Experience with Dynamics GP is a plus
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge

Pay Range: Starting from $18.00 per hour (dependent upon experience and education)
Schedule:

- Monday – Friday
8:00AM – 5:00PM

· Wasilla, AK 99623: In person
· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Working environment
Work is performed in an office setting with ability to speak and receive phone communications often. Work requires computer usage with strength, dexterity, coordination and visual acuity to use keyboard and video display terminal and other office equipment. Walking from place to place within the office; bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 2 hours; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds such as small office equipment, files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials.
