Role Description
The IT Systems and Network Administrator is primarily responsible for systems and network administration.
The IT Sys-Net Admin will be responsible for the following duties:
- Regular update, monitoring and backup of router firewalls, VPN, ACLs, content filters etc.
- Regular update, monitoring and backup of servers, OS updates, and installed applications.
- Compliance with and enforcement of IT security policies.
- Support of networks and systems, end user and vendor side.
- Help Desk support.
- Assisting in areas outside of Sys-Net as company needs dictate. E.g. Travelling to stores. POS hardware support, cabling, telephone, battery backups, printers etc.
The IT Sys-Net Admin reports to the IT Director.
Required Skills/Abilities
Knowledge
The candidate must have knowledge in the following areas:
- O365 Administration (Azure, Exchange, etc.)
- Sonicwall networking
- HyperV and Windows Server administration
- IT Security concepts

Pay Range: $80,000-$100,000 / annually (dependent upon experience and education)
Schedule:
- Full-time including availability to work weekends and after hours (e.g. projects, maintenance, etc.)
- Flexibility is a must.
- Infrequently, Available to travel between all Three Bears Alaska locations as needed.
Office Location and Travel:
- LOCATION: In person
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Working Environment
The candidate must be able to perform the following duties:
- Continuous sitting
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching at/above/below shoulders
- Occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds
- Considerable manual dexterity with tools
- Ability to read small type or print on paper and computer screen
