About Niural

Niural is revolutionizing global workforce management with an AI-powered platform that unifies Global Payroll, US Payroll & PEO, Global EOR, Contractor Management, and Global Payments into a single, seamless platform. We help companies hire, pay, and manage teams across 150+ countries without compromising compliance — simplifying payroll, compliance, and global workforce operations. As we scale rapidly, we’re building the legal foundation that enables responsible global growth.

About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief of Staff to partner closely with our leadership team in our NYC office. This role is a unique opportunity for a high-impact leader with prior start-up experience to drive operational excellence, align cross-functional teams, and accelerate Niural’s growth. As Chief of Staff, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and have a passion for scaling start-ups, this is your chance to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to C-level executives, driving key initiatives and ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Oversee cross-functional projects, coordinating with product, engineering, sales, and operations teams to deliver results.

  • Streamline internal processes, optimize workflows, and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

  • Prepare and facilitate executive meetings, board presentations, and strategic planning sessions.

  • Act as a liaison between leadership and teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Drive special projects, such as fundraising, partnerships, or expansion initiatives, from ideation to execution.

  • Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings, building relationships with stakeholders and partners.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, supporting team development and organizational growth.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if:

  • You have a proven track record of scaling operations in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • You’re a strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.

  • You excel at managing ambiguity and driving clarity in complex, high-stakes situations.

  • You’re a proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and delivers solutions.

  • You have exceptional communication skills, bridging gaps between diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, from project management to strategic advisory.

  • You’re passionate about building scalable systems and fostering a collaborative culture.

  • You thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting where your impact is tangible.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years of experience in high-growth start-ups, with at least 2+ years in a strategic role (e.g., Chief of Staff, Operations, or Consulting).

  • Proven experience scaling operations or driving strategic initiatives in a start-up environment.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to success.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions and optimize outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing executive-level stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with SaaS, fintech, or HR tech industries is a plus.

  • Ability to work in-person at our NYC office, with flexibility for occasional travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

What We Offer

At Niural, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the future of global workforce compliance and legal infrastructure — working alongside a passionate leadership team during a pivotal growth phase. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, flexible time off, and a culture that values impact, autonomy, and innovation.
