We just closed our Series A and are expanding our incredible NYC-based team of software engineers. Lantern's Software Engineers are highly collaborative and seasoned early-stage start-up engineers with expertise in object-oriented programming and modern software development methodologies and tools. These are full-time roles based in NYC, and the team works in an office four days a week.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Lantern you will:

Develop and maintain back-end web applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions.
Actively participate in code reviews and drive technical decisions
Mentor junior team members

What you'll bring to Lantern:

Strong skills in Computer Science, Software Development, and Back-End Web Development at an early-stage start-up or a later stage start-up during a period of tremendous growth
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Experience with modern software development methodologies and tools
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Prior experience in the AI or revenue management industry is a plus
