SALES REPRESENTATIVE (1099 Contractor)
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads and securing new business for Green Summit (GS) in relation to its core service offerings: §179D Tax Deduction, Green Building services, and Cost Segregation studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation & Client Engagement:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within targeted industries, including commercial real estate developers, property owners, contractors, and architects.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits and qualifications of §179D, or (Green Building services, and Cost Segregation services, emphasizing tax savings and ROI.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with prospects and existing contacts through calls, emails, meetings, and webinars.
- Deliver compelling presentations and provide in-depth information on the technical and financial advantages of GS’s services.
Client Interaction:
- Build relationships with key decision-makers such as CFOs, property managers, accountants, and developers to promote GS solutions.
- Collaborate with GS management to support sales conversations, technical discussions, and necessary follow-ups.
- Help clients understand the scope, timeline, and process involved in engaging with GS services.
Sales Activity Tracking:
- Accurately log all sales activities in GS’s CRM system (Insightly), including communications, lead statuses, and sales milestones.
- Maintain detailed records of meetings, calls, emails, and follow-ups to ensure visibility and continuity.
- Provide GS management with regular updates on lead generation efforts, pipeline status, and conversion metrics.
Sales Conversion & Follow-Up:
- Convert qualified leads into clients by managing the proposal, negotiation, and contracting processes.
- Ensure timely and effective client onboarding and coordinate handoff to internal service delivery teams.
- Address client questions, concerns, and objections throughout the sales cycle to promote a positive client experience.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with GS management and technical teams to ensure a seamless client experience from sales through delivery.
- Coordinate with project teams to relay scope, timelines, and client expectations effectively.
Customer Relationship Management
The contractor will oversee the customer relationship throughout the lifecycle of each engagement sourced or introduced by them, including:
- Prospect Development: Identify, qualify, and nurture prospective clients per company standards. Share relevant prospecting information with GS in a timely manner.
- Engagement Coordination: Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work, and related documentation. Facilitate introductions between clients and GS personnel as needed.
- Ongoing Communication: Maintain consistent, professional contact with the client throughout the engagement, serving as a liaison between the client and GSE. This includes managing expectations, clarifying deliverables, and supporting issue resolution.
- Project Close-Out: Support GS in project completion by assisting with final deliverables, collecting required documentation, and confirming client satisfaction.
Commission Contingency: Contractor acknowledges that commission payments are contingent upon successful project close-out, including the receipt of all required documentation and deliverables as defined by GS. Commissions may be withheld for engagements where the contractor does not substantially fulfill their responsibilities under this section.
