THE JOB – The Network Support Specialist at Expansive will play a key role as our first line of IT-related support, managing camera systems, and assisting with building-related technical issues. This includes, among other things to:

• Configure VLANs on Network Equipment

• Assist end users with issues related to wireless

• Remote PC Support specifically troubleshooting printer connectivity and connecting wireless devices to our network

• Configure and provide support for camera systems including Axis and Blue Iris

• Assist with configuring network switches on multi-VLAN network

• Manage migration of ISPs – coordinate the initial installation of the new ISP and disconnection of old ISP

• Assist with documentation and planning

• Assist in the port map process across all locations – reconfigure switch ports as needed

• Ability to work in a busy and highly diverse environment

• Ability to work onsite at our Columbia location

• Ability to travel 10% out of state

• Ability to read and follow directions with heavy emphasis on details

• Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with project personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders
