We are looking for a reliable network administrator with a solid grasp of basic troubleshooting concepts and ability to work on multiple issues at the same time (fast paced dynamic environment).
We deal with a lot of networking items - VLAN-related - Meraki, Cisco Catalyst, Ubiquiti mainly.
Must be honest, hardworking, have a good attitude, and be able to talk with clients and communicate with the rest of the tech team. Client communication includes explaining what we are going to do, what has been done, and working with clients to ensure their equipment is working properly in our multi-VLAN environments.
Main focus areas include router and switch management, configuring printers (scan-to-email, etc.), assisting users get connected to wireless, troubleshooting bandwidth issues, working via the CLI with Cisco, Ubiquiti, FS, ICCN, and other switches. Managing SonicWall, Cisco ASA, and Meraki firewalls. Managing Meraki devices via their cloud portal.
Heavy focus on VLANs and routing required. Other duties include managing UniFi, Meraki, and other wireless devices, troubleshooting issues individual clients have related to wireless speed or connection issues, assisting users get connected to the wireless & hard-wired networks, and other network-related issues.
Additional requirements include the ability to clock your time on each project, follow checklists and document what you do. *These items are not optional*
This job will involve some travel - less than 25% total travel time and a lot of assisting clients directly via phone.

Job Type: Full-time ON-SITE
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm EST
COVID-19 considerations: Remote work for this position with the ability to travel on-site for projects.
Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience: Network administration: 5 years (Required)
