Dentologie is actively seeking a Dental Hygienist to join in a full-time role with our 4 new Seattle office location(s), including Queen Anne (1900 Queen Anne Ave N) -- opening this September! With 11 awesome locations (and counting) in Chicago, IL, Dentologie is excited about launching in Seattle this summer!

Regarding work schedule, Monday - Thursday our offices have a morning shift (6:30am-1:30pm) and an evening shift (12:30 or 1:30 pm-7:30pm). On Friday, we have one shift from 6:30am-2:30pm. As a full-time hygienist, we would ask that you are comfortable working Monday-Friday and 5 shifts per week, with 3 morning shifts (including Fridays) and 2 evening shifts.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed to perform.
  • Assist dentist chairside during examinations.
  • Provide a 10-star Patient experience.
  • Contribute positively to an engaging corporate culture.
  • Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients.
  • Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair.
  • Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education including at home care.
  • Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
  • Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations, periodontal charting as well as planned treatment.
  • Monitor daily supplies for restocking.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following periodontal procedures as well as other dental treatment procedures completed by dentists.
  • Follow infection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and ops.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to regularly travel to at least 2 Dentologie office locations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication & customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care.
  • Prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
  • Registered Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program.
  • Active Registered Dental Hygiene license within the state of Washington.
  • Local Anesthesia certified.
