The Role We Want You For

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Field Support Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of technology solutions across Clayco office builds, renovations, and construction jobsites. This role sits at the intersection of IT and field operations ensuring that critical technology infrastructure such as networking, AV, jobsite connectivity, and end-user environments are delivered reliably, efficiently, and aligned with project timelines. This individual will play a key role in bridging strategy and execution, working closely with field technicians, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and is comfortable managing multiple projects, coordinating across teams, and driving results from concept through completion.

The Specifics of the Role

• Own the full lifecycle of IT scope for office builds, renovations, and jobsites from design through deployment and handoff
• Partner with architects, general contractors, and internal stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with construction schedules and milestones
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership
• Coordinate with field technicians to execute deployments to meet business goals
• Provide leadership and support during complex installations
• Improve consistency and quality of field deployments across regions
• Assist with resource planning, scheduling, and prioritization of field work
• Oversee installation of structured cabling (fiber and copper), network hardware, and wireless infrastructure
• Coordinate ISP services, circuit provisioning, and WAN/LAN connectivity for jobsites
• Ensure solutions meet Clayco performance, reliability, and scalability standards
• Identify gaps in workflows and drive improvements in processes and documentation
• Standardize deployment practices to reduce rework and increase efficiency

Requirements

• 3 + years of experience in IT Project Management or technology deployments
• Strong understanding of networking, AV systems, and end-user technologies
• Experience working in construction or jobsite environments preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to jobsites and offices as needed
