The Role We Want You For

We’re looking for a Director of IT Finance and Procurement to lead all aspects of IT financial management and procurement strategy. This senior leader will be instrumental in ensuring alignment between technology investments, vendor partnerships, and our business goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence through fiscal discipline and strategic vendor engagement.

The Specifics of the Role

  • Lead the development and management of IT budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Oversee procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
  • Evaluate and enhance vendor performance and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the CIO and executive team to ensure alignment of IT spending with business strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and financial risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial and procurement processes using analytics and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance and procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT financial management, procurement, or a similar function.
  • Proven leadership at the director or senior management level, with a track record of strategic and operational success.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT financial frameworks, software licensing, and contract compliance.
