The Role We Want You For
The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the CDC Department. The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for PMWEB, Building Connected, and Plangrid software management and administration. Organize Project team scope efforts, Organize Vendor lunch and learns, document control for bid efforts, and any other special tasks assigned.
The Specifics of the Role
- PMWEB software management and administration
- Issue Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Contracts
- Work with Accounting and Invoices
- Coordinate with LJC and CDC’s specifications
- Request and issue Closeout warranties to Mission Control upon project completion
- Document control for bid efforts
- Vendor contact management
- Vendor lunch and learns
- Electronic file and folder structure management
- Obtain past project job cost reports
- Assist in researching and evaluating new material pricing
- CDC stationary management
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Coordinating CDC’s meetings and documenting Meeting Minutes
- Conference room scheduling (by request)
- Coordinate Bid Day activities (bid distribution, bid forms, lunch)
- Manage travel arrangements for CDC department
- Update and maintain master subcontractor/ vendor database
- Maintain Project List up to date for CDC department
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Conceptual ability to work with minimum information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, and Excel.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
